Man is charged with camera theft

A MAN has been charged with stealing a camera from the boot of a car in York.
The 21-year-old man, who is from York, was arrested on Sunday night at Severn Green, Nether Poppleton, and later charged with theft from a motor vehicle.
North Yorkshire Police said the owner of the car had disturbed a man who took the camera before running off, shortly before the arrest.
The man who has been charged is due to appear before York magistrates on February 15.
