POLICE have appealed for help to trace a missing Helmsley pensioner who has not been seen since Monday morning.
Barbara Colling, 68, was last seen at about 9.30am on Monday, walking from Helmsley towards Stokesley, and North Yorkshire Police said they are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety as she has "serious health issues" and her disappearance is "out of character".
She is not believed to have any money or debit cards with her. She is white, 5ft 6in tall, of medium build and with medium-length blonde hair. When she was last seen, she was wearing a navy blue jacket, blue trousers, a black woollen hat with ear flaps and black boots, and she is also thought to have been carrying a black rucksack.
Anybody with information about her should phone North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option one and speak to the force control room.
