FIRE crews have attended a house fire at a property in Dringhouses.
The fire started in the house, in Sandcroft Road, at about 5.50pm today.
Two fire crews from Acomb and one from York were sent to the scene, and the fire was extinguished by just after 6.50pm.
A spokeswoman for North Yorkshire Fire Service said ambulances had not been called to the scene, as nobody was injured in the fire, but no details about the damage to the property were available at this time.
A fire investigation officer was also sent to the scene, and is expected to revisit the property tomorrow.
