RSPCA seeking homes for two dogs

Tilly and Tia Tilly and Tia

ANIMAL welfare workers in York are trying to find homes for these two black and white Staffordshire-cross dogs which were found tied to a lamppost outside the RSPCA York animal home.

It is though the animals, who have been named Tilly and Tia, could be sisters, but attempts to trace the animals’ owner have failed.

Anyone who knows where they came from or could offer them a home should phone the RSPCA on 01904 654949.

Let's hope they don't go to chavs, but someone who can treat these animals with the respect and love they deserve. Bring back a pet licence for breeders and owners, at a sensible price that covers the cost of administration and puts off people who dump all animals from owning them in the first place, and the breeders who create them in poor conditions for profit and greed.

Take them into town tonight. There will be plenty of lads only too willing to pick up a couple of rough looking dogs come chucking out time.
