Man arrested over York robbery

A MAN has been arrested in connection with a robbery in York, following the release of an efit image of the suspect.
The robbery happened on January 15 in the Layerthorpe area when a 19-year-old woman walking home from a night was grabbed by two men, who searched her handbag before stealing her mobile phone and keys.
North Yorkshire Police released an efit of one of the suspects, and a 20-year-old local man was arrested today. He has been released on bail while investigations continue.
