Justine Curran proposed as new chief constable of Humberside Police
HUMBERSIDE Police looks set to appoint its first female chief officer.
Humberside police and crime commissioner (PCC) Matthew Grove has put forward the Tayside chief constable Justine Curran as the force's new head.
Her appointment will need to be approved by the police and crime panel when it meets on February 15.
Ms Curran said: “I am delighted to be put forward as the new chief constable of Humberside Police. I look forward to moving to the area with my family and getting down to work in this important and challenging role.”
