THE funeral of a policeman who died while on duty in North Yorkshire will be held today.
PC Andrew Bramma, 32, died when his patrol vehicle crashed into a tree near Ripon earlier this month.
He leaves a widow Kathryn, and two sons, Jack, three, and 11-month-old Sam.
The funeral will be held at Pudsey Parish Church in Leeds.
A police escort from North Yorkshire Police will accompany the funeral cortege and 36 officers, made up of PC Bramma’s former colleagues from Greater Manchester Police and North Yorkshire Police, will form a Guard of Honour along the church path.
