HMV to accept gift vouchers again

THE administrators of HMV have said the retailer, which has a store in York, will start to accept some gift vouchers and will honour its charity commitments.

Administrators Deloitte confirmed that proceeds raised by HMV through the sale of charity releases, including the Hillsborough Justice Collective single, would be paid in full as soon as possible.

Nick Edwards, joint administrator, said: “The ability of administrators to honour gift vouchers will depend on the specific circumstances of each case.”

Some gift vouchers? Which ones? Might I be involved in some kind of voucher-off with another customer for the right to use mine?
