‘Pub crawl’ in search of people’s life stories

A PROJECT to gather stories from the people of York is due to visit the city’s pubs.

Storyteller Adrian Spendlow is turning story-gatherer on behalf of City of York Council, collecting memories, anecdotes, knowledge, and experiences from local people to write up for City of York Council’s York Stories 2012.

He will be at The Ackhorne on February 8 from 2pm to 4pm, The Fulford Arms from 7pm to 9pm also on February 8, The Court Bistro Bar at The Dean Court Hotel on February 12 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, The Golden Ball from 8.30pm to 10.30pm on February 13, The Rook & Gaskell from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on February 15.
