Man arrested over city-centre assault

A MAN has been arrested in connection with an attack outside a nightlcub in York.

The assault happened in Tanner Row outside Club Salvation in October, when a 19-year-old was reportedly punched to the ground then kicked in the head.

Police have been hunting for three suspects since and say a recent CCTV appeal has resulted in a 22-year-old being arrested. He has been released on bail.
