TWO men were arrested after they allegedly sneaked into a private area behind a Selby bar and helped themselves to alcohol.
The incident occurred at about 2.30am on Saturday, at the Blackamore in Finkle Street.
The two men, both aged 19 and local, drank 17 bottles of lager while in the private room.
When members of the door staff told the two men to leave, one allegedly punched a doorman. Both were arrested by police.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said one man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and released after receiving a caution, while the other was arrested on suspicion of assault and released on bail while inquiries continue.
