Man arrested following restaurant burglary

A MAN has been arrested following a burglary at an Italian restaurant in the centre of York.
The break-in happened at Il Paradiso del Cibo, on Walmgate, at about 7pm last Saturday, with a handbag being stolen.
Police said a 42-year-old man from York was arrested yesterday in connection with the crime and was taken into custody for questioning.
