WITH York 800 drawing to a close, City of York Council will be presenting a film that looks back on what has been a spectacular year for the City of York.

Coun Sonja Crisp, said: “The York 800 film will be shown from December 29-31 on a big, mobile screen that will be touring round the city to give everyone in York a chance to relive the events of the year and be reminded of the fantastic celebrations we have all been involved in.

“It will cover all the highlights of the year, including HM the Queen’s Jubilee visit, the York City return from Wembley, Buskival, the Olympic and Paralympic flames’ journeys through the city, the Mystery Plays and the events of Charter Weekend including Ebor Vox.”
