Road repairs on Boroughbridge Road

RESURFACING works will take place on the A59, Boroughbridge Road, in York, throughout today.

The repairs will take place throughout the day and traffic lights will be in operation at the junction with Plantation Drive until 5pm.

Then on Monday one of the utlilities will dig it up as the heavy plant will have fractured a pipe!

Aye! Probably due to be dug up the following day but no-one thought to check.
A little like the road sweeper out the other day which was following a gritter.... beggars belief.

Conjestion....?or congestion. No god having a P&R Service without bus priority measures on the route into town.
Otherwise buses will not be able to offer competitive journey times.
