Jamie Inglis update

A YORK boy receiving treatment for cancer has been able to talk to his parents.

Jamie Inglis, seven, is in remission from the childhood cancer neuroblastoma, but is undergoing antibody treatment in Germany to help ensure his immune system will fight any rogue cancer cells in the future.

Yesterday, his parents updated the Keep Jamie Smiling Facebook page with the fact Jamie had removed his own breathing tubes.

The status said: “Amazingly his lungs held out and with the aid of oxygen was able to breathe okay.

“He was able to talk in a squeaky voice and knew who we were.

“He told us all what he wanted for Christmas.”
