Two vehicle crash in Holgate Road

The vehicles are towed away from the Holgate Road crash
PART of Holgate Road was closed this evening following a crash between two vehicles during rush hour.
Firefighters freed two people from the crash at the junction of Holgate Road and Wilton Rise, a fire service spokesman said.
Police were called to the scene at about 6.10pm by the ambulance service.
The two casualties were freed from a Citroen Berlingo, which had collided with a Skoda, and were taken to hospital.
The road was closed both ways and traffic diverted until a recovery team could clear the road.
A police spokesman said the crash is not thought to be serious with those involved suffering minor injuries.
