Plea to help catch car theft suspect

YORK police have urged the public to help them find a man wanted in connection with the theft of a car.
Martin Cooke, 24, is wanted on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent after a Rover 25 was stolen from Grange Lane, Acomb, on Monday, November 19.
Two local men, both aged 23, have been arrested, but Cooke is still being sought by police.
