Police dog tracks down suspected burglar

A SUSPECTED burglar was caught by a police dog in York.
Eagle-eyed residents phoned police at about 3.40am on Sunday after they saw two men enter a house in Coniston Drive.
Police attended with police dog Ozzy, who tracked one suspect to a nearby cycle track and held him.
The youth received treatment for a minor injury before he was taken into custody.
A 17-year-old appeared before York Magistrates’ Court yesterday, and was released on bail.
