EIGHTIES pop legends Blondie will be bringing their tour of Britain’s woodlands to a North Yorkshire forest next summer.
The Debbie Harry-led band, whose hits include Atomic, Heart Of Glass and Rapture, will perform an open-air show at Dalby Forest, near Pickering, on Friday, June 28, as part of the Forest Live concert programme, organised by the Forestry Commission.
Support will come from The Lightning Seeds, who will play an acoustic set at each of Blondie’s forest gigs. The tour will also include performances in Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, Thetford Forest in Suffolk and four other dates.
Tickets cost £36 subject to booking fee and will be on sale from 9am on Friday from the Forestry Commission box office on 03000 680400 or at forestry.gov.uk/music.
