ONE of York’s key arterial roads has re-opened after floodwaters receded.
The A19 at Fulford closed earlier this week after being flooded by water from the swollen River Ouse and Germany Beck.
The closure forced motorists from Selby and the A64 to use other routes into and out of the city, in particular Hull Road, causing lengthy rush-hour delays.
