East Coast train cleaners on strike
8:16am Wednesday 28th November 2012 in News
CLEANERS on rail services which run through York will take strike action this week over a claim for “pay justice”.
Contract cleaners on East Coast Main Line services will refuse to work on Friday and Saturday. The action will also affect other routes across the UK.
The RMT union said cleaners were being “exploited” over pay and it was looking to “name and shame” the companies involved, as well as the rail operators responsible for awarding the contracts. A rally will also be staged in London tomorrow night.

will anyone notice.
As above I would like to see some more detail on what the strike is actually about.
On a side note, if you went away, would anyone notice?

Maybe what 'roskoboskovic' is saying is that in his/ her experience, trains have been dirty; I am inclined to agree that trains have been dirty for some time now.
So, exploited how?
