TWO burglary suspects were arrested in York following separate break-ins in the city.
Police are questioning a 38-year-old man in connection with an attempted sneak-in burglary in The Groves and an 18-year-old man on suspicion of a two-in-one burglary in Melrosegate.
In the early hours of Friday, officers stopped a blue Ford Fiesta being driven erratically on Little Hallfield Road. The driver was not the registered keeper of the car and officers found a number of laptops in the vehicle.
The car was traced to an address in Melrosegate and when officers went to the property they found it had been burgled after a door was left insecure.
A man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and also on suspicion of drink-driving, after a roadside breath test. He remains in police custody.
