IMAGES have been released of a man police want to speak to in relation to a theft from York Crown Court.
A black leather wallet containing £25 in cash was stolen from the court’s reception area.
A 46-year-old local man has been arrested and charged in connection with the theft, which took place at about 3.15pm on September 12, but North Yorkshire Police suspect a second man may also have been involved.
A CCTV image shows the man they wish to speak to wearing a green hooded top and jeans, and officers have urged anyone who recognises him to phone them on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
