York Palestine Solidarity Campaign fears for friends in Gaza

MEMBERS of the York Palestine Solidarity Campaign say they fear for safety of friends in Gaza as the region comes under attack from the Israeli military.
Carol Pearman, a York resident, said a young girl she knew in Gaza had written on Facebook that a shell had exploded just outside her home.
“A few years ago, that same girl was part of a troupe of Palestinian dancers who visited York and danced in Parliament Square,” said a campaign spokesman.
He said srikes had already killed a Palestinian military leader and a number of adults and children.
