CHILDREN from a performing arts group have entertained day care patients at St Leonard’s Hospice.

Members of Perform with Emma Bassett - based at York College and Bishopthorpe Junior School – staged a number of Annie and Oliver songs for patients.

Miss Barrett said: “The children enjoyed it.

‘‘It was a great experience to perform in the community for the ladies and gentlemen who were there.

‘‘It was a different experience for the chidlren and I thought it would be a nice thing for them to do.”
