£250 for homes with TalkTalk names

A leading phone and broadband company will offer families £250 to claim the naming rights of their home.

TalkTalk aims to rename 50 homes by the end of the month with titles such as TalkTalk Mansions, The TalkTalk Home and TalkTalk@.

Elaine and Darren Snow, the first to take up the offer, will rename their detached house in Sanderstead, South Croydon, as TalkTalk Towers for one year.

Mark Schmid, of TalkTalk, said: "If the great sporting and cultural arenas of the nation can be renamed then why not individual homes?

"We aim to have 50 deals completed by the end of the year across the country and to do more next year."
