Gardening guru Joe Maiden will be at the Talbot Hotel, in Malton, on Thursday, February 27.
Joe is a well-known gardener, horticulturist, BBC radio presenter and author.
He has been awarded the Harlow Carr medal by the RHS for his growing and lecturing, particularly of vegetables. Joe is also an author of several books.
Visitors to The Talbot can join Joe for a two-course lunch and talk. There will be a questions and answers session, plus the opportunity to purchase small plants grown by Joe, as well as books, which he will be signing on the day.
General manager David Macdonald said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming Joe to The Talbot and I know head chef Craig Aitchinson will want to take the opportunity to show him our kitchen garden – hopefully picking up a few free tips.”
Tickets are £19 per person, including a two-course lunch with coffee.
