Winter ales at Golden Ball pub's festival
THE Golden Ball pub in Bishophill in York is holding a mini beer festival, taking in the Winter Solstice and Christmas.
Beers include Copper Dragon Black Gold, Old Bear Hibernator, Rudgate Christmas Barrel, Acorn Winter Pale Ale, Goose Eye Jing-ale Bells and Naylors Reindeer’s Revenge. The festival will end on Boxing Day, with a brass band performance live in the pub from 9pm.
