A MICROBREWERY near York has launched its first bottled beers.
Half Moon Brewery, based at Ellerton between Wheldrake and Bubwith, has already won awards and plaudits for its cask ales since launching in a converted blacksmith’s forge in the village in late 2013.
Now, brewery owners Tony and Jackie Rogers have called on the expertise of sensory consultant Johanna Menneer, to hone their brand and range, and with Lorraine Wood at Penement Design, to come up with new pump clips and bottle labels.
The bottled beers will be hitting the shelves within around a fortnight.
Mrs Rogers said business had gone well so far, adding: “We are getting new customers all the time, while also keeping old customers.”
