IF Slipknot were ever to make music with Professor Green, the end result would sound something like this.
A mash up of the screaming noises put out by the scary American band combined with the Hackney rapper would be the stuff of nightmares.
However, Enter Shikari seem to have done just that. What their fans see in them is beyond me; it is inaccessible to even the broadest of tastes. The lyrics are meaningless and as soon as frontman Rou Reynolds starts shouting them after a long-winded introduction, I was compelled to switch it off. And that was tolerant: what I should have done was throw the disc out of the window and saved myself further torture.
What is striking about Enter Shikari is how they have managed to churn out four albums. Clearly, this St Albans four-piece have some fans out there, but I hope we never meet. Avoid this at all costs.
