I work in the southern rural area of Ryedale, which covers Staxton, Sherburn, Rillington and the out-lying villages to the border of the East Ridings.

I previously worked in the Selby district, and transferred to Malton in December 2008.

I am the beat manager for Malton and Amotherby.

I have been a police officer for North Yorkshire Police since 2002 and I have spent the whole time based in Malton.

I became Malton's Safer Neighbourhood Police officer in June 2006 and because I have lived in the Malton area most of my life, I have built up a great network of contacts here who assist me in delivering my responsibility for tackling the crime and disorder within Malton.

I have been a PCSO for Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside since October 2006. I was brought up in Helmsley, still have family ties in the area, and have built up a strong network of contacts, which assists me in my responsibility for providing reassurance and reducing disorder.

I won the North Yorkshire Safer Neighbourhood PCSO Award in 2009 and represented North Yorkshire at the national awards presentation in London.
