It's Party Time...
5:47pm Sunday 3rd January 2010 in Travel Promotions
Cheap holidays in Majorca are famous for giving the opportunity to spend lazy days on the beach and long nights partying. Nowhere on the island is more popular for this than the legendary Magalluf. With over 100 clubs and bars to choose from, you'll never be able to visit them all, although I'm sure many people have tried.
The bars here are as different as the people who use them and there's a huge variety of happy hours, opening times, cocktail offers and themes. There's definitely a bar to suit every person in your group and its great fun finding out which ones you like best.
There's Scottish bars, Brit bars and Irish bars, karaoke bars, music bars and dance bars, electro music, R & B and indie bars, the choice is yours and is as endless as the tunes that blast through the night air until the early hours of the morning.
The bars and clubs are mainly clustered around one area known as the Punta Ballena Strip, or 'The Strip' for short, so it's never very far to your next drink. Some party goers pick their favourite bars and stick to them each night, others start at one end and try to visit every bar along the strip!
Happy hours temp you at every turn, as there is a lot of competition between bar owners, and more often than not free drinks are their way of enticing you back again the next day.
Just when you think it's time to go home, some of the biggest clubs in Europe open their doors on a whole new world of music and dance. One of the largest and most famous is the legendary BCM. Here you'll find international DJ's mixing their tunes with laser shows and foam parties keeping you dancing until the sun comes to life on another glorious day in Magalluf. If it's a different kind of dancing you prefer, then head to Heaven, the first established lap dance club in Magalluf, where the exotic dancers will keep you entertained until breakfast time.
When you're all partied out its time for some rest and relaxation, and there's no better place for this than on one of the most beautiful beaches in Majorca. The endless sands have often been awarded Blue Flag status for their cleanliness, safety and facilities, so you can just lie back, relax, and work on your tan. If you do manage to summon up the energy, you can try some of the brilliant range of water sports on offer here. Try your hand at doughnut rings, parasailing, banana boats, water skiing, fly-fishing, jet skiing or surfing, or just relax and enjoy watching the others have a go.
Magalluf is the ultimate party experience and challenges hard for the 'party capital of the world' title, and hopefully you'll take home some fantastic memories from your cheap holidays in Majorca.
