Christmas Holidays To The Balearics

advertising feature

The nights are drawing cold, the darkness is falling early and the air is crisp and dry, this can only mean one thing...and one thing only! December is upon us!

How does December come around so fast?! It only feels like five minutes ago when we were taking the tree down and packing the decorations back into their boxes, now its time to get them down again. Its the 1st December and as if the icy morning wasnt bad enough, the Christmas shopping cant be postponed another moment!

Chatter fills the air with people bragging that theyve finished their shopping and theyve even done the wrapping! This year is so much harder as the recession has really taken its toll on my purse, its snapped the strings and cleaned me out, but, it is a time of giving, a time of eating and most importantly. . .a time of drinking!

With Christmas parties just around the corner, its time to get those sequin spangled dresses out of the wardrobe and get ready to party, however, its freezing outside and the woolly hat and scarf will not go with that glittery number.

If only you could celebrate Christmas in a nice warm climate, somewhere where there lies a lovely beach and lots of bars serving extra large vodkas. What a great idea, instead of suffering the blustery, cold temperatures of Britain and the slippery floors which prove tip toeing to the taxi on a night out very difficult!

Why not go away for Christmas? Somewhere where the sun bounces off the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, where the pressure to cook a perfect Christmas dinner for the whole family is taken away from you and where you can feel at ease in those pink patent stilettos without the worries of breaking a leg when stumbling across those icy cobbled streets.

But where to go and is it really affordable?! The answer youre looking for is Yes! You can travel to one of the Balearic Islands from as little as &pound200pp, just think about the amount of money you spend here in the lead up to the big day and compare it with the prospect of going away.

There are many countries you can travel to but holidays to the Balearics and mainland Spain top the charts. Majorca is a very popular hotspot, with many Brits spending Christmas their, you wont feel a stranger at this special time of year.

Imagine waking up on Christmas morning to blue skies, sparkling seas and beaming sunlight. Rise for breakfast then relax until you head out for lunch then laze the afternoon away in friendly bars and lively clubs.

Your Christmas holiday will leave you feeling completely rejuvenated, relaxed and revitalised and ready to bring the New Year in at home. Let it be a Christmas present to yourself, and maybe plan ahead for next year when you could head a little further, maybe to the Caribbean.

Christmas is a time to wine and dine yourself, enjoy the big day for what it is and to be happy with your loved ones. Christmas holidays to the Balearics will roll all of this up into one big chocolate Yule log with an extra sprinkling of icing sugar to top it off.
