Free children's tickets for The Yeomen Of The Guard
3:11pm Friday 18th May 2012 in Theatre
CHILDREN can experience Harrogate Gilbert and Sullivan Society’s production of The Yeomen Of The Guard for free from next Wednesday to Saturday.
Two free child tickets for those aged 16 and under are on offer with the purchase of any adult ticket for all performances, other than next Saturday evening.
“Set in the Tower of London, The Yeomen Of The Guard is one of Gilbert and Sullivan’s darkest and most emotionally engaging operas but also has some some fun and humour,” said publicity officer Gillian Nield.
“It’s a tale of reluctant engagements, disguises and escapes from the Tower prison, and unlike other G&S plots, this one is not so topsy-turvy! It’s an operatic treat, perfect for music lovers and G&S aficionados alike – as well as being a wonderful opportunity for children to see a live orchestra, stunning sets and costumes and superb singing.”
Tickets for the 7.30pm evening shows and 2.30pm Saturday matinee are on sale on 01423 502116 or online at harrogatetheatre.co.uk
