For three nights only from Monday, York’s Ghost Finder General, Rachel Lacy, will be telling ghost stories and a few tales of the unpleasant side of York as part of City of York Council’s Festival of the River.
On board the Room 58 river barge at King’s Staith, Rachel will present Rivers Of Blood, a dramatic storytelling of tales of death, despair, blood and gore that explore the seedy underbelly of York’s past.
“It’s not for the faint-hearted or those of a nervous disposition,” she says.
Doors open at 7.45pm for the 8pm start, Monday to Wednesday; tickets cost £3. For more details, ring the Ghost Finder General on 07768 734294.
