DO you remember Remembering Fred, Strictly Come Dancing stars Janette Manrara and Aljaz Skorjanec's celebration of Fred Astaire and the golden age of Hollywood's most celebrated dance routines, at the Grand Opera House, York, last May?

Janette and husband Aljaz return to York on Monday, heading to the Barbican on this occasion with their song-and-dance Astaire show, featuring classics from the American Songbook of George & Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin and Cole Porter.

Brought to dramatic life by musicians, singers and dancers, led by the Strictly duo, Remembering Fred has been put together by the producer of Darcey Bussell and Katherine Jenkins' Viva La Diva.

The evening of top hat, white tie and wonderful tales has added new songs, new dances and a new look since last year's tour for the new 46-date itinerary. "We are so thrilled that there is a demand for another tour," say Janette and Aljaz. "To be able to do it again for 2018 is incredible."

Tickets for Monday's 7.30pm performance are on sale on 0844 854 2757 or at yorkbarbican.co.uk
