YORK company Wildgoose Theatre will follow up their spring production of Jez Butterworth's fly-fishing mystery drama The River by staging Laura Wade's Colder Than Here at Friargate Theatre, York, in the autumn. Directed by Louise Larkinson, it will run in October.
Premiered in 2005 at the Soho Theatre, London, Wade's debut play is an anti-sentimental comedy about a woman dying of bone cancer and her family coming to terms with her impending death.
Wildgoose Theatre will present a final performance of The River at Seven Arts, Leeds, on May 3 at 7.30pm; tickets at sevenleeds.co.uk/event/wildgoose-theatre-the-river/.
