DO you fancy taking part in a treasure hunt with a difference, plus the chance to win a family ticket for the Grand Opera House pantomime, Beauty And The Beast?

Look no further! Well…slightly further. In our beautiful city of York, eight pretty golden roses will be mysteriously hidden in various locations and if you spot one, grab it, bring it in to the box office in Clifford Street and claim your family ticket for four people. Keep an eye on the Grand Opera House Facebook page, where clues will be published weekly, starting in the week beginning August 14.

Three Bears Productions' staging of Beauty And The Beast will run from December 15 to January 7 with a cast of Blue singer Antony Costa; Home And Away soap star Lynne McGranger; Stuart Wade, Debbie McGee and dame Steve Wickenden from last winter's panto; plus Ken Morley, from Coronation Street; Audrey Leybourne, formerly one of Les Dawson's Roly Polys, and Lincoln musical actress and singer Charlotte MacLachlan, who will play Belle, the Beauty of the show's title.

Tickets can be booked on 0844 871 3024 or at atgtickets.com/york
