NOT Cricket Productions present their new family-friendly adventure, A Tale Of Robin Hood, at Upstage Centre, 41 Monkgate, York, from tomorrow until Saturday.

Produced by Kate Stephenson, the show for seven year olds and upwards is written and directed by Joel Bates, who played the Ghost of Christmas Present in the young York company's performance of A Christmas Carol last December in the York Guildhall basement.

In Bates's new work, the Sheriff has been killed and Nottingham is now ruled by a man whose thirst for blood is matched only by his hatred of notorious outlaws. Lady Marian, the murdered Sheriff's daughter, is on a ruthless hunt for revenge.

"When a young girl lost deep in Sherwood Forest is taken under the wing of the most infamous band of heroes in all of England, she must show all her courage and wit to avoid capture," says Joel. "Join our merry band round the campfire as they regale you with a tale of revenge, adventure and derring-do."
