MOSCOW State Circus are bringing their "awe inspiring" new show, Zhelaniy, to the Grand Opera House in York on March 2.

Courtesy of the Cumberland Street theatre, What's On has two sets of family tickets – each for two adults and two children – to be won for the 7.30pm performance.

Zhelaniy, a place where wishes become reality, is based on the Russian folklore story of Cvetik-Semicvetik, or The Flower With Seven Colours, by Valentin Petrovich Katayev, wherein each of the petals represents a wish.

Professor Wacko and his crazy sidekick Natalia Mezentceva will invite the audience into a wondrous and mysterious enchanted garden, in which dreams come true.

Moscow State Circus's Loveable Buffoons will guide the show's path through this tantalising tale, granting wishes to the beautiful Zhenya, played by Kushka Veslovskiy, surrounded by flying, back-flipping, juggling, wire-walking and roller-skating performers.

Tickets cost £17.25 to £27.25 on 0844 871 3024 or at atgtickets.com/york.
