THE full cast is in place for the latest leg of the record-breaking 60th anniversary tour of Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, whose engagements include the Grand Opera House in York from February 22 to 27.

The 2016 dates will open on January 19 at Nottingham Theatre Royal, where the play originally opened in 1952, and will visit more than 25 theatres across Britain.

The cast will feature Anna Andresen as Mollie Ralston; Nick Barclay as Giles Ralston; Tony Boncza as Major Metcalf; Lewis Collier, Sergeant Trotter; Gregory Cox, Mr Paravicini; Amy Downham, Miss Casewell, and Oliver Gully, Christopher Wren. Doctor Who and EastEnders star Louise Jameson had been announced already for the role of Mrs Boyle.

Anna Andresen has appeared on stage in The Frozen Scream, The 39 Steps, Into The Sunlit Uplands and Red Admiral and on screen in Fortitude, Miss Marple, Silent Witness and Wire In The Blood.

Nick Barclay has more than 240 professional stage productions to his name, such as Stone Cold Murder, Dial M for Murder and The 39 Steps, and he has written and performed for the NewsRevue in London and directed productions up and down the country.

Tony Boncza trained as a journalist before joining the National Youth Theatre. He appeared in the National Theatre's Great Britain and the South East Asian tour of The Mousetrap and played Sergeant Trotter in the West End production of Christie's murder mystery 25 years ago.

Lewis Collier performed in the British tours of Classic Ghost Stories and The Three Lions and toured Italy in Erasmus International Theatre Company's production of Macbeth.

Gregory Cox will be reprising the role of Mr Paravicini, having played him in the 2013 cast of The Mousetrap at St Martin's Theatre, London. Amy Downham has appeared on stage in Generation Y, Twelfth Night and Daisy Pulls It Off and on TV in Doctors, EastEnders and Hollyoaks. The open-ended London run continues at St Martin’s Theatre and the UK tour is booking until August 2016, taking in Harrogate Theatre from May 2 to 7.
