THE National Dance Company of Ireland will return to Scarborough Spa this summer with a new version of their hit stage show Rhythm Of The Dance.

After a series of performances in The Spa last year, this breathtaking show returns to The Grand Hall for an evening of true Celtic dance and live music on Saturday, July 11.

This new stage production celebrates the rich history of Ireland and the art of Irish dance, from the disciplined Celtic Step to the sensual, ancient Sean Nos dance style.

This latest show is choreographed by professional dancer Doireann Carney, who has toured with the phenomenon Riverdance – The Show, as well as performing with other popular touring shows.

Doireann has brought her years of dance experience to the company, tweaking and intensifying the beats and passion at the heart of the Rhythm Of The Dance spectacular.

Rhythm of The Dance is internationally rated as one of the most popular and successful Irish Step Dance shows.

With 30 of the finest Irish dancers, a traditional Irish band performing alongside the Young Irish Tenors, this show is set to give audiences an exciting insight in to the new era of Irish entertainment.

Jo Ager, general manger of The Spa, said: “It’s fantastic to have such a well-loved dance company returning to The Spa, bringing with them a breathtaking new show which is sure to inspire audiences both young and old.”
