ENGLAND cricketer, one-off boxer, radio presenter, television game show team captain and now fish-and-chip van expert Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff has a new live show heading for York.

Freddie, star of Sky 1's Lord Of The Fries, is teaming up with TV comedy producer, writer and podcast partner in crime Clyde Holcroft for the theatre tour of Flintoff & Holcroft: Balls Out 2015, destined for the Grand Opera House on October 7.

Flintoff & Holcroft: Balls Out will bring the pair's podcast to the stage for the chance to hear the behind-the-scenes truth of the infamous 2005 Ashes traffic-stopping bus tour of London and Freddie’s Guinness world record-breaking marathons for Sport Relief, via questions about players' habits in the loo.

Freddie and Clyde may even find time to discuss cricket after this summer's Ashes series on the tenth anniversary of Flintoff's most glorious summer of England-Australia clashes.

Add a little bit of Elvis and a couple of googlies and Flintoff & Holcroft: Balls Out will be complete. "It's unguarded and unleashed. Buckle in, the boys are on tour," the tour's publicity machine advises.

Tickets for the 8pm show cost £25 or £50, including a meet and greet, and are available on 0844 871 3024 or at atgtickets.com/york
