TADCASTER Theatre Company will present the cabaret revue Spring Spectacular at the Riley Smith Hall, Tadcaster, from March 25 to 28.

Directed by Angela Edwards, with Helen Wright as musical director, this cabaret format will have undesignated seating, in tables of ten, and an open licensed bar plus refreshments.

"The relaxed style suits the moment and all ages," said Angela. "With something for ages three to 93, we offer the audience Frozen, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cabaret and Into The Woods to name but a few, plus some rock'n'roll.

"Our cast members are drawn from York, Tadcaster, Towton, Sherburn and Church Fenton and include a welcome new youth section, first seen at last year's pantomime, from Tadcaster Grammar School. This gives the company the chance for longevity with many new faces who may be seen for years to come."

Tickets for the 7.30pm evening shows and next Saturday's (MARCH 28) 2.30pm matinee are on sale at Gallery 42, St Joseph's Street, Tadcaster, on 07743 356128 and at tadcastertheatrecompany.org or on the door.

Looking ahead, Tadcaster Theatre Company has chosen Lionel Bart's Oliver! for its next production in November.
