FROM the producers of Vampires Rock comes The Meat Loaf Story, starring Steve Steinman at the Grand Opera House, York, on Wednesday at 7.30pm.

Known for his larger-than-life performances when getting his teeth stuck into Vampires Rock, Steinman promises an epic adventure in his Meat Loaf tribute, where he discards the pretence of wigs and make-up for his new show and lets his voice and the performance do the talking.

“With video-projected scenes, an incredible stage set, a superb band and my unique sense of humour and stage presence, the show will have you up on your feet and dancing in the aisles to all the greatest Meat Loaf hits,” says Steve.

Expect to be blasted away by Paradise By The Dashboard Light, You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth, I’ll Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That), Dead Ringer For Love, Bat Out Of Hell and plenty more.

Tickets cost £24 or £22 on 0844 871 3024 or at atgtickets.com/york
