THE players from Dringhouses Dramatic Society put on their annual production at the Friargate Theatre in York.
The group put on an adaptation of Abigail's Partyover three nights last week.
Secretary, Janet Parkinson, said: "The group has been going for more than 60 years and the plays always do well. This year was no exception, with good crowds on Thursday and Friday especially."
The society is putting on a murder mystery, Dead Fit, on December 6 at St James the Deacon church hall in Woodthorpe.
Tickets are available in advance from Woodthorpe Post Office priced £8 - the cost includes a supper.
