STRICTLY Come Dancing stars Kevin Clifton and Karen Hauer and Britain's Got Talent act Flawless will not be appearing in Flash Mob at the Grand Opera House, York, on Sunday after poor tickets sales nationally led to the tour being cancelled.

Nevertheless, Kevin of Grimsby, as celebrity dance partner Susanna Reid crowned him en route to the 2013 final, has decided to put on "one hell of a show" in his home town as consolation for missing out on Flash Mob. Should you wish to travel, An Evening With Karen & Kevin From Grimsby will take place at the Grimsby Auditorium on Saturday at 7.30pm. Tickets are still available online at atgtickets.com/grimsby

Ticket refunds for the cancelled York show are available on 0844 871 3024.

Putting Flash Mob behind him, Kevin has confirmed that he and fiancée Karen will be competing against each other for a second time on the 2014 season of BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing.

What's more the new series will be keeping it in the family.

"My sister Joanne is joining the show – I'm 31, she's 30 – so now I'll be up against my sister and my fiancée," he says. "If I get beaten by both of them, I'll never live it down, so it'll be more competitive than ever this year."
