MAGIC Carpet Theatre fly into Pocklington Arts Centre next Thursday afternoon with the children's show The Magic Circus.
The circus acts have disappeared; the acrobats, the tight-rope walker, the lion trainer and the elephants have all vanished! Where have they gone and why have they left? Will the show carry on and, if so, who will perform it?
The pompous Ringmaster is left with only one clown and the help of boys and girls from the audience in a fast-moving, colourful, highly visual show full of magical illusions, circus skills, puppets and loads of participatory fun for children aged five to 11 and their families.
Founded by Jon Marshall in 1982, Magic Carpet Theatre are regular visitors to Pocklington with theatrical and educational shows that combine the traditional skills of variety theatre, circus, puppetry, slapstick and physical theatre.
Tickets for the 2.30pm show cost £5 on 01759 301547 or at pocklingtonartscentre.co.uk
