SOAP stars Daniella Westbrook and Danny Young will star in York Barbican’s Christmas panto Dick Whittington.
Eastenders bad girl Daniella will play Queen Rat while Coronation Street heartthrob Danny will perform as Idle Jack. Dancing On Ice finalist Chloe Madeley – daughter of TV presenters Richard and Judy – will play Alice Fitzwarren, with CBeebies favourite presenter Alex Winters as Dick.
The show will be produced by Blue Genie, the team behind last Christmas’s production of Cinderella at the Barbican.
This year’s show will run from Friday, December 20 until Monday, December 30.
Tickets have already gone on sale, priced £15.50 to £21, with some discounts available if bought before August 1.
