The wait is over, after months of waiting BBC Proms in the Park is finally here.
The Proms in the Park event is returning to Colwyn Bay for the first time since 2016 and will be headlined by mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins and West End star and Holby City actor Lee Mead.
The pair will be accompanied by 16-year-old pianist and winner of BBC Young Musician 2018 Lauren Zhang and Only Kids Alloud at the event to be held in Stawim ZipWorld on Saturday.
All of these acts will perform alongside the BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales.
Delighted to be headlining the event, Jenkins said: “BBC Proms in the Park is one of the best nights of the year. I’m always thrilled to be involved but am even more chuffed this time as I get to perform again in Wales."
Visitors are invited to bring picnics and deck chairs and help celebrate the last night of the proms.
The evening will end with fireworks and the last night medley of sing-a-long numbers, joining with the audience at the Royal Albert Hall and with parks across the UK.
Tickets for the event are on sale and available from Venue Cymru, Llandudno.
